tewart’s Automotive Group, the authorised dealer for Chinese automaker Great Wall Motor Company Limited (GWM) in Jamaica, unveiled its newest premium luxury SUV, the GWM Haval H6 GT Coupe during a lavish affair on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Hope Botanical Gardens in Kingston.
The versatile and spacious GWM P-Series pickup truck was also showcased alongside the GWM Haval Jolion and Haval H6 sports utility vehicles.
However, the company upped the ante for the hundreds in attendance when the star of the evening, GWM’s brand-new ultra-sleek Haval H6 GT Coupe was revealed as a surprise offering.
GWM Business Development Manager James Stewart Lechler underscored why the GWM was a choice brand.
“While searching for a brand deserving of our customers, reliability was my main concern. I spent countless hours researching different brands and travelling the world to personally test each option, and negotiating terms that would benefit our customers. The premium Haval H6 GT Coupe is a compact SUV renowned for its quality engine performance, spacious full leather interior, advanced technology, 19-inch alloy wheels and an electric tailgate with delayed closing and memory function. A rear spoiler adds to its aesthetic appeal as does the panoramic sunroof.
The lavish and sleek design of the GWM Haval SUVs is also backed by five-star ANCAP safety ratings.
According to Stewart Lechler, “These state-of-the-art SUVs boast security and safety features such as a 360-degree around view camera, Intelligent stop-start, Hill Descent Control [HDC], Hill-Start Assist Control [HHC], Cornering Brake Control [CBC], Intelligent Cornering Control, Brake Override System [BOS], Lane Departure Warning [LDW], Lane Keeping Assist [LKA] and Lane Centre Keeping Assist [LCK]. It has two smart remote keys and Forward Collision Warning [FCW].”
The Haval H6, also a compact SUV; and Haval Jolion, a sub-compact SUV both boast modern designs and advanced safety features, spacious cabins with touch screen infotainment systems. The Haval H6 includes connectivity features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with enough space for the family and luggage; while the Haval Jolion has a turbocharged engine, making it perfect for city driving and weekend getaways.
