The original Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class revolutionized modern automotive design by promising the sporty dynamics of a coupe with a dash of sedan practicality. When Mercedes-Benz first launched the CLS in 2004 it claimed it had invented a new market sector and the CLS four-door coupe proves it. Although there had been big two-door coupés in the Mercedes range before, the four-door Mercedes CLS genuinely was the first of a new line.
The CLS’s design combines elements from the concept with the new SLS AMG: long sporty bonnet, grille dominated by the large central star, large elongated dark air inlets with black grilles, full LED headlamps, flared wheel arches, and wide wrap-around tail lights featuring LED technology. The interior also combines innovative details and handcrafted perfection: a high line sweeps from the driver’s door over the instrument panel support and across to the front passenger door. The central display has also been integrated harmoniously into the upper part of the instrument panel. At the same time, the downward sweeping side line on the doors continues the dynamic dropping line of the exterior.
The 2015 Audi A3 is comfortable enough to drive daily, but sporty with the flip of a switch. MMI dashboard tech continues to lead the class and adds 4G LTE connectivity for its data services. With the MMI controller, excellent voice command, and MMI touch, the driver has multiple ways to interact with the infotainment.
