CRM Manager must have an in-depth understanding not only of the CRM software, but also of sales, marketing, business processes, and how they relate to the CRM software. In a full-blown CRM installation, every department will have some interaction with the software—requiring the administrator to have some interaction with all those departments.
On a practical level, a CRM Manager needs to have a strong IT background, an understanding of marketing practices, and good interpersonal skills. Much of their job will involve verifying and reconciling data that has been entered into the system and educating users on how to correctly enter that information in the first place.
They’ll also have to provide training and education for new users, and for existing users as the CRM system evolves and grows. They need to know how to customize the software as needs change, and how to troubleshoot the system when problems arise. As the business grows, so will the demands on the CRM Manager.
Key Duties:

- Gather, identify, and analyze CRM software requirements and ensure that they are met.

- Assist in creation of long-term strategic goals for high data quality and appropriate data use.
- Monitor data quality, data migrations, and data integration.
- Evaluate and configure CRM system, and provide detailed end user documentation.
- Provide technical support to end users, diagnosing and resolving problems.
Sales support

- Act as liaison between Sales Team members as well as existing and potential customers
- Provide pre- and post-sales support to Brand Managers and their sales teams
- Research to support new client prospecting effort; including target lists and sales materials
- Assist in preparation and participation in Sales Kickoff and Sales Year-End Meetings
Data Management

- Oversee CRM database management: compliance, troubleshooting, reporting, customizations,
dashboards, training, and entries - Maintain and update information as needed in CRM database and various Google docs
- Participate in application/new product development
- Enter and track Employee and Driver Leads in CRM database for referral payouts on won accounts

Marketing

- Assist in coordination, attendance/participation, and registration for trade shows and other sales events as needed
- Assist in updating of marketing materials and ensuring the online library and source documents are compliant
Reporting

- Responsible for creating, analyzing, maintaining, and monitoring various sales reports tc.
- Calculate monthly Sales Commissions Report for payments
- Research, create, and compile notes and slides to complete Board of Directors meeting presentations
- Assist with the capture and flow of information of timely data such as client meetings, events, and conference calls
General Clerical/Administrative Support

- Arrange and coordinate travel schedules and reservations for Sales and Marketing Team members.
- Execute sales-related special projects, conduct research, compile, and create informational reports
